The career in Human Resources is good for developing the communication, negotiation and presentation skills and it includes solving the people related issues on a daily basis, which is excellent for the general managerial career later on.

Human Resources becomes to be a strategic department in the organization and a strategically important partner to tough and future focused discussions and the major decisions are not able to be made without the voice of Human Resources.

Human Resources is a challenged business function. The recession changed the view of the top management on the organizational development and Human Resources plays an important role in changing the today’s organization into the organizations of future.

As the labor law is different, it is always a challenge to move the employee from one country to another.

HR needs strong project managers as in the past, Human Resources was present in the organization-wide projects. Today, HR is asked to lead and manage the global projects and it is fully responsible for the project results. This needs the project managers, who understand the people related issues and they can be the excellent consultants in the change management later.

Human Resources is the business function, which has the excellent overview of the whole organization and it can ask questions. It is a great area to learn, how the business operates, what is profitable and what the biggest opportunities for the growth. Human Resources can contribute to the effort to build a better organization focused on the high performance and efficiency.

Human Resources Salaries

Several years ago, the salaries offered in Human Resources were not on the industry average. The employees in Human Resources did not enjoy the median salaries offered in the company with the several exceptions like Compensation&Benefits.

This is quickly changing and the salaries offered to best HR employees are fully aligned with the salaries offered to other top talents in the organization. Starting your career in Human Resources, you can be sure, your salary will be fully comparable with your colleagues and you have a chance to get a higher salary raise.

The people entering HR are worried, they have to stay in Human Resources forever. It is not true. The excellent employees can choose from many job opportunities, when they decide to leave Human Resources and they want to start their career in a different business field.

The excellent HR employees can start their own HR Consulting Business, they can do the Project Management or they can become the specialized consultants in the Change Management.
